We prefer to insist on this point: straps and belt have never been a good match (neither has the belt worn as a complement to the straps!)….
We get right to the point!
THE SIZE OF THE SUIT: PERFECTION REQUIRED
Whether you are the groom, a witness or just a guest, there is one thing you can’t cheat on: the size of the suit.
Fitting your shapes without being tight, it underlines your silhouette and flatters your build. Therefore, you must choose one that fits exactly to your proportions and in every detail.
On the other hand, a suit that is too small will give the impression of salami and the visual result will be appalling.
ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS, GREAT OUTFITS
GET OUT OF EVERYDAY LIFE
If possible, leave your « office costumes » in the closet.
Unless they are as good as new and perfectly cut, it is not appropriate to wear business attire – probably already worn – at a wedding. If you don’t have costumes that meet these basic criteria, this may be an opportunity to invest in your outfit.
You can choose a blue or grey suit, possibly with a small Prince of Wales pattern, which will follow you even after the ceremony.
WHICH MATERIALS SHOULD BE USED?
As the majority of unions are celebrated during the spring/summer period, let us take a look at the matters to be favoured in the event of high temperatures.
So be sure to choose breathable and lightweight materials such as:
* poplin and more generally the majority of cloth armor whose weaving allows « draughts »,
* flax (and its mixtures), provided that the shirt is sufficiently strong
* the madras, very airy, whose weave alternates silk and cotton yarns.
